Korea Trip: Third Day

Assalamualaikum...
Ok here's the entry for the third day of my Korea trip.

On the third day, we woke up quite late compared to the day before but we were also very confused on what we are going to do on that day since we are going on a budget and going to Nami Island is quite expensive but at least is cheaper compared to amusement park.
We whatsapp (this application help us get in contact with our dad most of the time) our dad and somehow he agreed to pay us for the trip to Nami Island. because our dad knew well that the money he gave us wasn't enough for 5 days.

So from Yeongdeungpo Market, we took the subway and stop at Singil to transfer to Line 1 and arrive at Yongsan Station where we take the ITX Cheongchun Line to Gapyeong Station (6,000 KRW).
When we arrived, we took a taxi to the ferry (3,000 KRW) and then we bought the ferry+entrance fee to Nami Island which costs 8,000 KRW/person.

The lake(?) was still a bit frozen as there were still ices in the lake as we took the ferry to Nami Island. It took just a few minutes there, so the cold was still bearable despite the fact that it's a bit windy when you are outside but the view was still nice though

When we arrived there, there are just way too many pictures to take, the snowman around there are all cute, in different sizes as well. There are things that couples/friends write as well. The first thing we did was actually looking for a hotpack because it was still very cold for our hands to take pictures without wearing our gloves, so we need it.

My sister even made her own snowman which eventually freezes our hand as touching the snow is like soaking your hand into a big bowl of cold water full with ice, well probably a metaphore right there but kinda.

Among all of us, our older sister is actually the one who really wants to go to Nami Island because she was a huge fan of the drama, Winter Sonata. For the rest of us, it's all about the view. So she took pictures with pictures of the casts there, and there were Bae Yong Jun and Choi Ji Woo's statue as well.

There were a picture of the cast and is put there in remembrance of the late Park Yongha who died three years ago. :') That was really nice of them to put it up.

After spending the whole evening at Nami Island, we decided to go back to Seoul, so we took the train back and went to Ehwa Women's University to do some shopping and to have our first meal of the day. We walk around and because my brother and I don't really have any shopping to do, we went around looking for some ddukbokki or odeng to eat. My youngest sister, Mira on the other hand is having a hard time walking because of her shoes, so she went together with my older sister to buy a new flat boots to wear so that walking around won't be a hard thing to do.

So we went to eat at a halal indian restaurant called Tandoori Restaurant. It's on the first alley after you come out from Ehwa Women's University Station (exit 3). The food is quite expensive, but it's worth it I guess since we were all very full afterwards. After dinner, we promised our dad to meet him at Dongdaemun, so we took the subway again and stop at Dongdaemun station. At first we wanted to walk towards the place we're supposed to meet dad at but somehow we ended up getting lost and having no idea where we are at, so we took a taxi and the kind taxi driver, who is really kind and friendly bring us to the place, lucky that it's not that far.

So we shop together but separately with our dad, means we are in the same building but we used our money to buy what we want. My sister bought another pair of shoes, my brother bought a pair of shoes, my older sister, Diyana bought a sweater together with me. We all ended up buying new phone cover for ourselves as well, and my sister bought a cute panda sweater for herself. You can actually see who's the shopaholic in our family are. I'm just the one who hates shopping unless it's at a shop I frequently goes to.

It's clear to see that we don't have lots of pictures except for the picture at Nami Island because we used up all of our energy there and besides, there's nothing much for us to take anyway.
